A classic residential seminar in France often looks like this: a bunker hotel in a business park, a shuttle bus running back and forth, evenings where no one leaves the establishment, and a feeling of being trapped by the end of the second day.
Salt & Pepper proposes a different approach.
We are organizing your residential seminar in Dijon by combining our hybrid venue in the heart of the city center with our partner hotels, ranging from 3 to 5 stars, all located within a 5 to 10 minute walk.
Your employees will stay in quality accommodations right in the city center. They'll walk to their work sessions in the morning and enjoy Dijon in the evening, with its wine bars, restaurants, and lively squares. They'll return rested and more engaged the next day.
Our coordinator handles all the logistics: room reservations, work sessions in our 4 modular spaces, homemade catering at every step, optional culinary entertainment, gourmet dinners on-site or at exceptional Burgundian venues, and transfers if needed.
One point of contact, one quote, zero friction. You approve, we handle everything.
«A very well-designed and welcoming venue, an original top-notch buffet, discreet and efficient organization, everything was in place for the total success of our event! Many thanks to the entire team!»
Work, activities, meals, overnight stay, departure: we build the schedule with you according to your objectives.
3 to 5-star partner hotels within a 5-minute walk. Your teams can enjoy Dijon in the evening without shuttle buses or constraints.
Homemade cuisine at every break. Cooking workshop, wine tasting, mixology optional. No need to go out to have the experience.
Plenary room for up to 80 people, divisible into 3 spaces
Intimate top-floor meeting room for strategic meetings
End-of-day culinary workshop to bond your teams
Brainstorming and subgroup work, up to 40 people
A residential seminar includes at least one night of accommodation for participants, whereas a traditional seminar takes place over a single day without accommodation.
The residential format is justified when you need more time to address your topics, when your teams come from multiple geographic locations, or when you want to create real cohesion that goes beyond the purely professional.
Evenings are often the most unifying moment of the seminar: this is where real discussions happen, where bonds are created between collaborators who don't cross paths daily.
The most common formats are 2 days / 1 night or 3 days / 2 nights.
We work with a network of partner hotels in downtown Dijon, selected for their quality and immediate proximity to Salt & Pepper.
Available categories: 3-star comfortable and functional, 4-star full-service, 5-star for executive committees or premium seminars.
All of our partner hotels are a 5 to 10 minute walk from our venue, eliminating the need for shuttles and giving your staff independence.
We directly manage room reservations, group rate negotiation, arrival and departure coordination, and integration into the overall quote. You only need to speak to one point of contact.
The most common format is 2 days / 1 night. Your teams arrive on the morning of day 1, work all day, enjoy a dinner together and an evening in Dijon, then continue on day 2 until the late afternoon.
This format allows for a comprehensive, in-depth program, fosters strong cohesion, and respects the time constraints of most companies.
For executive committee seminars or sensitive strategic topics, we also manage 3-day/2-night formats that offer more depth.
For geographically dispersed teams (international subsidiaries, remote teams), a 3-day format can amortize everyone's travel expenses.
It all begins with an in-depth briefing with our coordinator. We want to understand your objectives (team cohesion, strategic alignment, project launch, celebration), your company culture, your timing constraints, and your budget.
From there, we build a tailor-made program that paces the day and evening without dead time. Work sessions in our most suitable spaces, well-timed gourmet breaks, activities that serve your objectives, and dinner on-site to maintain group momentum.
Our approach: everything happens at Salt & Pepper, in our spaces. Your participants don't have to run between different locations. They settle in, they enjoy, they experience it from start to finish.
Our coordinator will remain your single point of contact from the briefing phase through the post-event debrief. On the day of the event, they will manage everything behind the scenes so you can focus on your teams and your topics.
Our activities are designed to bring rhythm to the seminar and create memorable moments between work sessions.
On-site at Salt & Pepper: a cooking workshop led by a chef at the Cooking Lab, a MasterChef challenge in teams, a tasting of Burgundy wines guided by a sommelier, and a mixology workshop with the creation of signature cocktails.
Outside: vineyard tour in Côte de Nuits (15 minutes away), gastronomic walk in the historic center of Dijon, themed escape game, design thinking workshop in a heritage site.
All these activities are optional and can be combined according to your program. Our coordinator will suggest a schedule tailored to your objectives and budget during the briefing.
