In the heart of Dijon, a stone's throw from Place de la République, our hybrid venue is housed in a fully renovated 17th-century historic building. Your guests can arrive by tram from the train station in 15 minutes or park in the nearby public parking lot. They will discover a place that is a radical departure from the traditional banquet hall or restaurant.

Our venue can be booked for private events, accommodating up to 120 people in a standing cocktail reception format, with flexible setups to suit your program: reception area, buffet, bar, and discovery workshops. You can also combine multiple spaces if your cocktail hour precedes a dinner or evening event.

Our chef cooks on-site with fresh ingredients. Savory and sweet dishes, gourmet platters, live workshops in front of guests, pairings with Burgundy wines selected by our sommelier.

How does privatization work for a wedding reception?

For a wine reception, Salt & Pepper is entirely privatized. All our spaces are reserved exclusively for you for the duration of your event.

Your guests are truly at home: no other groups, no crowding, no outside noise. The welcome, the flow, the ambiance – everything is tailored to you.

You can use several spaces depending on your program: welcome in the Creative Lounge, cocktail hour in the Event Room, workshop or culinary demonstration in the Cooking Lab, a more intimate lounge for speeches or photos in the Meeting Room.

This is what transforms a classic reception wine into a truly private and memorable moment for your guests.

How many guests can be accommodated for a full buyout?

Up to 120 guests in a standing cocktail format, utilizing all of our spaces.

The Event Room remains the heart of the cocktail reception, but the advantage of total privatization is that your guests can move freely throughout Salt & Pepper.

We are setting up spaces to pace the event: a welcome area, a bar and drinks area, buffet areas, and a live culinary entertainment area. Your guests will mingle, chat, and discover the different atmospheres of the venue.

This circulation avoids queues and gives a real breathing room to the cocktail reception.

What catering options do you suggest for a cocktail reception?

Our chef cooks on-site with fresh ingredients. That's our signature and what sets our experience apart from a traditional caterer.

Savory dishes in circulation: gourmet appetizers, themed canapés, Burgundy charcuterie and cheese platters.

Sweet pastries: petits fours, fruit verrines, mini-pastries.

Live animations: carving station (ham, salmon), oyster shucking, plancha grilling, pan-seared foie gras in front of guests.

Drink bar: Burgundy wines selected by our sommelier, crémant, signature cocktails, refined non-alcoholic alternatives.
